The Mall

The Mall, Gadong.
The largest shopping mall in Brunei.

The Mosque

The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin mosque located in the capital.
It reaches a height of 52 meters and is topped with a pure gold dome supported by walls of Italian marble, which also forms the mosque's columns, arches, and towers.
The stained glass was hand made in England and the carpets are Saudi Arabian.

Looks empty.
That's because nobody wants to walk outside under the scorching hot sunny day.

Widgets madness

I went to Brunei Techxpo 2010 today. For a techie person like me this kind of expo is like a must thing to check out. But I failed to notice anything latest with techs, still the same old stuff...3D tv, computers, smart phones...boring..*yawn* I was expecting to find flying cars or holographic mobile phones...That's what I call tech.
Anyway, one booth got my attention was this Widget Warehouse. The common mobile phone apps you'll find widely used all over the world. :)

Sidewalk

The quiet footpath along the Brunei's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
My friends and I were strolling along this path after having lunch. A good exercise to burn some fats and...err burn some skins because of the hot weather. Haha.

When in Japan

Ok, not the real country of Japan. I just went to a Japanese restaurant in town called Misato.
I was craving for some sushi ^^
